Maserati's Electrification Surge with New Electric Models
Maserati has firmly stepped into the electric vehicle market by unveiling electric versions of the Grecale SUV and the iconic GranTurismo sports car, marking a significant shift towards electrification for the brand The battery-powered Grecale Folgore SUV is a blend of lavish comfort and the trademark Maserati driving experience, with a dual-motor setup churning out 550hp and 820Nm of torque The marque's pioneering EV, the GranTurismo Folgore sports car, boasts a formidable 760hp powertrain that permits a rapid acceleration from 0-62mph in just 2.7 seconds. Both the Grecale Folgore and GranTurismo Folgore are equipped with a substantial 105kWh battery, with 95kWh of that being usable, and feature advanced charging capabilities where the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% within merely 29 minutes However, despite offering a luxurious ride and spirited performance, critiques have emerged specific to the Grecale Folgore's infotainment interface and control configuration, which don't quite match up to the vehicle's overall quality.
