Safety Advisory for Jaguar I-Pace EV Owners

Jaguar is addressing a critical safety concern by recalling all 2019 I-Pace electric vehicles sold in the United States, marking the second such recall due to an issue with the high-voltage battery that could potentially lead to a fire This recall notably impacts a total of 258 vehicles that were manufactured in the period between March and May of 2018 Currently, a permanent solution to rectify the issue is still in the development stages. In the interim, Jaguar has provided guidance for affected customers, recommending that they limit the charge of their electric vehicles to a maximum State of Charge (SoC) of 75% and advising them to park their vehicles outdoors, away from any structures as a precautionary measure.
